About the Author

Professor Omoh T. Ojior is a product of the Clark Atlanta University, (CAU) in Atlanta, Georgia and Pepperdine University, Malibu, California USA. A former Public Officer in the former Bendel, now Edo State of Nigeria, Professor Ojior began his teaching career at the University of Benin, Nigeria in February 1983, and continued teaching while carrying out his doctoral studies and research at Clark Atlanta University, concluding his Ph.D. studies in 2000. The former Ford Fellow and Who’s Who amongst Students in American Universities and Colleges, Professor Ojior has lectured at various American universities and colleges including Morehouse College, Morris Brown College, Atlanta Metropolitan College, and lark Atlanta University. Professor Ojior is a published author of boc and scholarly articles in learned journals. Ojior is a concerned citizen. His agitation for grassroots political education brought about the founding of Nigeria’s Center for Democratic Studies. An esoteric student and a conscientious Africanist, Ojior is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Onima Institute for Tradition and Development USA, Inc. – a position in which the Professor has been involved in research, documentation and education in fostering the revival, development, promotion and preservation of African cultures, traditions, and customs. The Professor calls on all Africans to be proud of their native names &. indigenous Mother tongues everywhere they may find themselves in this world.
